We don't normally celebrate Valentine's Day in our household. Who needs to be told one day a year that you have to show your love for your significant other or family? We would much rather surprise each other many days throughout the year! But, well Mike was at work Friday, I was looking for things to occupy Kylie on the cold, windy day we were having. I decide to pull out all my old teaching craft bins and let her create something. This was our first dabble in arts and crafts and after today, I think I could handle more with her. She had a blast decorating the hearts that I cut out for her and shaking glitter onto her daddy valentines, as she called them. When she was done, she insisted on putting them on the refrigerator to surprise daddy in the morning. Her are some pictures of her working on her masterpieces!

Bowling
A couple weekends ago, we took Kylie bowling for the first time. We weren't too sure how she would do, but she loved it! They even had little bowling shoes in her size. She was so excited to carry her 5 lb ball by herself and didn't want anyone to help her push it down the lane. She kept track of who's turn it was and would jump up and down when Mike went because that meant she was next. We only bowled for thirty minutes but that was plenty of time. The last week or so she has been asking to go back. We will have to find a time that some of her cousins can go with her to make it even more fun!
