We have filled the last couple weeks with loads of Easter activities. We started with taking Kylie to an Easter Egg hunt at our local park. She had lots of fun finding the eggs that we 'hidden' on the ground but wanted nothing to do with the Easter Bunny that attended. In fact, she wouldn't even walk anywhere near him.

We also spent some time decorating Easter Eggs.. We only did a few since they always seems to go bad before we can eat a whole dozen. Kylie loved drawing on the eggs before the went into the dye, but was a little impatient when it came to waiting for the color to set in.
We also made Rice Krispie Treat Eggs. Mike saw it on the Rice Krispie commercial and being a major lover of Rice Krispie Treat, decided we should try them too. Kylie had a blast with that. Though, I think most of the fun came from eating the sprinkles and marshmellows!
After seeing the Easter Bunny at the egg hunt, Kylie has been fearing his coming. Saturday night she had a complete meltdown and wouldn't go to bed because she was scared that the Easter Bunny was coming and he was scary. She decided that he could drop her basket at the door but was not allowed inside the house... Silly girl. After church Sunday morning, we allowed her to go outside and get her basket. She loved her 'Jesus' books and Dora memory game more than the candy filled eggs!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and was able to celebrate this wonderful season with friends, family and loved ones.
